Shipping Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can you ship your Famous Golden Palace Egg Rolls® anywhere in North America?
No. It is only available in Ontario at the moment. If you wish to be notified when our shipping area expands in another province or state, please email us
2. Is there a minimum order required to ship your Famous Golden Palace Egg Rolls® and chicken rolls?
Yes. There is a minimum of two dozen with our homemade plum sauce.
3. Can I order more than two dozen ?
Yes. For logistical reason, each order is packed for two dozen. Therefore, the next up is 4 dozen, 6 dozen, 8 dozen etc.
4. Can I order cocktail size Famous Golden Palace Egg Rolls® or chicken rolls for shipping ?
No – only the full size is available at the moment.
5. Can I order other items on GP’s menu along with my Famous Golden Palace Egg Rolls®?
No. Not at this time.
6. How do you ship?
By Fedex Priority Overnight service
7. Do you have any special shipping policies?
Yes. We do not ship if the receiving address requires two days for FedEx to get there. We will call to inform you should this be the case. Orders placed on Thursdays (after 11:00 a.m. cut off Ottawa time) will be shipped on the following Monday for Tuesday delivery but we will make every effort to ship your order before the Fedex pickup on Thursdays.
In the event of heavy snowfall in the winter or excessive heat in the summer, we may delay the shipping of your order and notify you via email with options of timeframe to ship your order or to refund your order in full.
We do not ship on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory holidays.
8. When should I expect my order?
We offer priority overnight next day service to major cities provided your order must be submitted before 11:00 a.m. (Ottawa Time) from Monday to Thursday. Every effort will be made to ship your order before the Fedex pickup and especially on Thursdays.
We do not ship on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory holidays. Orders placed on Fridays and the weekend will be shipped on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday.
09. How do I know you have received my order?
Once you have submitted and paid for your order, you will receive an email confirmation. When your order has been fulfilled, a confirmation email with a tracking number will also be sent to you.
10. How do I know when my order is ready?
You will receive an email notification with a shipping tracking number you can use to track your order.
11. Can I place my order for multi shipping addresses?
Only one shipping address is allowed per order. You can place additional orders for the other shipping address.
12. Do you ship locally in Ottawa?
No – Unfortunately, we don't ship locally. We deliver via UberEATS starting 11:15 a.m. but coverage area may be limited.
13. Do you accept all major credit cards?
Yes – We accept all major credit cards.
14. Can I pay with my credit card and have the order shipped to an address other than my credit card’s billing address?
Yes – as long as your credit card number and your billing address is correctly matched. Under the Billing Address box, please check ‘Use a different billing address’ and enter your billing address information. The different delivery destination is a typical situation when you would like to ship our Famous Golden Palace Egg Rolls® as a gift to a friend or family member.
15. Why I received full refund for my order?
If the order is submitted without the shipping address, we will refund in full. Please re-order with shipping address.
